Continuous strand of opalite glass beads and fresh water button shaped pearls

This necklace is one continuous strand of opalite glass beads and fresh water button shaped pearls that have been hand wrapped in sterling silver wire. The necklace measures 54 inches long and there is a small sterling silver lobster claw style clasp tucked in with the wrapping to add adjustability. This is a multifunctional piece that can be worn 3 times around the neck or 7 times around the wrist! If you are feeling very creative and want to enhance your beach look it can also be worn around the waist! The wire used to wrap the bead segments is 24 guage half hard sterling silver round wire.
Opalite is a type of glass that is popular for beaded jewelry and has a milky white tone and a soft sparkle when it is faceted as it is in this necklace. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have about my work or the beads used.
